Ghana: In Pictures

by Kelly on October 22, 2012

I don’t often do photo stories, because, well, I’ve never thought of myself as a very good photographer. But, as my last post was about the difficulties I encountered while traveling in Ghana, I wanted to show the good side to my experience in Western Africa. Follow along and see the country as I did–from the fishing villages, to the mountains–and all of the smiling faces in between.

In the fishing village of Jamestown, near Accra, it’s hard to imagine living day to day relying only on fish by the sea.

Alternatively, the village of Torgorme resides in the mountains far outside of any city. Life here passes slowly.
