On my way into New York City, a new friend that I made in my taxi told me that I absolutely HAD to have a boozy brunch while in town. Booze? Brunch? Yes please!

A boozy brunch is basically brunch, with endless mimosas or bloody marys. It’s amazing. So, we did some digging to find some of the best places in New York for a boozy brunch. Here’s what we came up with:

Philip Marie: On Saturday & Sunday from 10-4, Philip Marie offers boozy brunch for $24.95. With that, you get to choose from a selection of about 10-12 entrees, all of them delicious. I particularly liked this place because they have outdoor seating! Located in the West Village.

569 Hudson Street at West 11th Street
New York, NY 10014

Sunburnt Cow: One of the most popular places for a boozy brunch, the Sunburnt Cow has an open bar and unlimited brunch for $18. It gets crazy busy here, but you won’t be able to make a reservation unless you have 6 people or more. So, plan on arriving early!

137 Ave C NY, NY 10009

Yerba Buena: I’m really bummed we didn’t make it to this place, because it sounds amazing! Yerba Buena offers Latin American food and unlimited sangria, mimosas, bloody mary’s, or house cocktails for $12, plus the price of a meal. I would die to try their Mexican hot chocolate with cinnamon churros (oh wait, I live in southern Arizona).

Two locations: 23 Avenue A, and 1 Perry Street in the West Village.

Dine responsibly!

Great topic 🙂 My last trip to the city, my friend took me to a boozy brunch at a pizza place downtown. I wish I could remember the name!

Yes please, for me too!

Heard good things about the Sunburnt Cow before, from an ex-bo and his New York buddies.
